This Beer & Cheddar Savory Quick Bread is a celebration of bold flavors and comforting textures—perfect for sharing with friends alongside a cold beer. Inspired by classic American bar snacks and modern baking techniques, this loaf is cheesy, golden, and aromatic with just a hint of spice from smoked paprika. The beer gives it a subtle malty depth and a tender crumb, while a topping of fresh chives and a dollop of sour cream takes it over the top. Serve it warm for a satisfying, crowd-pleasing treat.

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and toss to coat in the flour mixture.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and beer until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold together just until combined. Stir in chopped chives.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with a few extra chives.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack. Serve warm, sliced, with sour cream and extra chives on top.
