This vibrant stir fry is a weeknight hero—juicy shrimp and crisp-tender baby broccoli are tossed in a punchy, umami-packed sauce and finished with a craveable drizzle of chili crisp. The chili crisp brings a perfect balance of spicy, smoky, and crunchy that transforms the dish into a flavor bomb. Using a generous amount of shrimp ensures you hit your high protein target, while the baby broccoli adds color and crunch. Serve with steamed rice to catch all the spicy-savory sauce, or skip it for a lower-carb option. Perfect for sunny California evenings!
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt.
  3. Heat a large nonstick skillet or wok over high heat. Add 1 tbsp neutral oil and swirl to coat.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until just pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and the white parts of the green onions. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add baby broccoli and 2 tbsp water. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender.
  7. Return shrimp to the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss to coat everything evenly. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until sauce is glossy and slightly thickened.
  8. Spoon chili crisp over the stir fry and toss to distribute. Taste and add more chili crisp if desired.
  9. Remove from heat, garnish with green onion tops, and serve immediately with lemon wedges and rice (if using).
